Q. What type of women does Lambda Alpha Kappa Nu Sorority, Inc. consider for membership?
A. We consider ALL women. We are a diverse and inclusive sorority. 

Q. Where are your members located?
A. Lambda Nu has members in Pennsylvania, North Carolina, South Carolina, Illinois, Michigan, Tennessee, Washington, Alabama, Indiana, and Georgia. We are currently expanding and welcome all to express interest. 

Q. How do I become a member?
A. Membership into the Lambda Nu Dynasty is by invitation only. Everyone is welcome to submit their interest and someone from our membership committee will reach out to you.

Q. Is there an age limit?
A. To be considered for membership, you would have to be 21 years or older.

Q. Do I have to have a degree?
A. No, you do not.  However, we do ask that you have a high school diploma or GED.

Q. Do you have an anti-hazing policy?
A. Yes, we do.

 
The Lambda Nu Dynasty Inc does not condone nor participates in physical or mental (emotional) hazing of any kind and by any definition. Executive Commission strictly prohibits the hazing of individuals involved in any fraternity activities, including initiation.

“Hazing” is defined as any action taken or situation created intentionally, inflicted on person(s) pleading sorority, that creates mental or physical discomfort, embarrassment, harassment, or ridicule, regardless of the individual’s consent. Hazing includes any mental or physical requirement, request, or obligation which emphasizes one individual’s power over others; that could cause pain, disgrace, or injury. Any activity that violates Federal, State, or Local status is prohibited by The Lambda Nu Dynasty Inc. Such activities and situations include, but are not limited to:

1.    Paddling in any form
2.    Creation of excessive fatigue for inappropriate reasons
3.    Inappropriate labor required
4.    Mandated or forced branding or tattooing, or any form of body mutilation
5.    Any act of physical abuse, psychological abuse, or verbal abuse.
6.    Inappropriately exposing participants to adverse weather conditions.
7.    Forced consumption (including but not limited to illegal substances, food, alcohol, or any other type of liquid)
